ASCOM 2021 – The meeting of communicants who make Africa

Fabrice Sawegnon took part in the 8th edition of ASCOM on Thursday, June 10, alongside ministers Amadou Coulibaly and Thierry Moungalla, respectively ministers of communication and media, of Côte d’Ivoire and Congo.

During the inaugural conference he hosted alongside major communication players, he addressed the theme: “the African advertising market in the era of the digital revolution”.

While digital has a very bright future ahead of it, the old media will continue to be major investment hubs for advertisers in the years to come. These media have to be inventive and creative to remain attractive.

He wished to thank Russel Lohore, the founder of ASCOM, for having associated him with his event, which highlights the various challenges and perspectives of the communication sector in Africa.

He was also delighted to reunite with Dr. Ble Raoul, a source of inspiration for the new generation.
